The problem
Splitting lead valleys and slipped slates over the nave, with damp appearing on internal plaster during driven rain.
What we did
The solution
Drone survey to record condition without scaffolding the whole building, then targeted access to renew lead valleys to correct bay lengths and re-fix slates with non-ferrous fixings.
Result
The outcome
Repairs sympathetic to the building fabric, a photographic record for the parish's own records, and a phased plan for the remaining elevations.
